Gloucestershire Invertebrate Group undertook a survey at the orchard on 4 July 2001 finding amongst the numerous creepy crawlies a nationally scarce (Category B) bark beetle, a county rarity leaf beetle, also true bug and 2 rare moths.

We are hoping that as otters becomes more widely established they will appear in the stream that forms the northern boundary.
